Helsinki is the host city to the national seminar ACCESS 2008 and the 60th Anniversary celebrations of AIESEC in Finland. These events bring together old and new members, Executive Boards and alumni from across the decades.

ACCESS 2008 has different program for members according to their interests and level of experience. The new members will learn more about AIESEC and the opportunities in the organisation, while experienced members will receive further skills to succeed in their role.

On Saturday, the second day of the seminar, ACCESS delegates will be joined by our alumni participating 60th Anniversary celebrations. Generations will be bridged together, as we have a look at what has happened in the past and pave way for the future of AIESEC in Finland.

VENUE

ACCESS 2008 is held at Kulosaari Secondary School (Kulosaaren yhteiskoulu), next to the Kulosaari metro station in Eastern Helsinki.

OC will meet you:
At 15.45 PM on Friday, October 31 near Forex at the Central Railway Station. From there, they will help you to the metro and the location.

If you want to get on your own:
Kulosaari Secondary School is located at a convenient walking distance from the Kulosaari-Brändö metro station. Follow the signposts to Korkeasaari Zoo. The street address is Ståhlberginkuja 1, 00570 Helsinki.

The price of a single metro fare is 2 EUR. Tickets may be purchased from ticket machines or by SMS.

Delegates may enter the school starting at 16:30 on Friday, but not earlier than that.

For those who participate 60th Anniversary gala dinner:
There will be a bus transport from Kulosaari to the Restaurant Sipuli and back.

INFORMATION FOR DELEGATES

What to bring with you:

• a sleeping bag and a mattress
• warm socks or indoor shoes
• comfortable cloths
• party clothes for the theme parties - Friday: Halloween, Saturday: Future
• appropriate clothes for Saturday's official dinner (dress code: Men - black suit, Ladies - evening dress)
• a mug if you wish to drink coffee or tea (there will be no mugs available otherwise!)
• some money for consumption
• pen and a notebook

Friday night's theme party
It's Halloween! Will you be a zombie, wizard, goth, superhero or vampire? At last year's ACCESS in Oulu the results were interesting to say the least. Use imagination with your costume – as always, the more you put effort, the more rewarding it is. In AIESEC there is no such as thing as going overboard.

AIESEC in the future theme party! How will people look like at AIESEC's 100th Anniversary party? Use your imagination!

Food Menu

Fazer Amica Kulosaari will provide the following food for delegates during the weekend. Please remember to mention your special food diet requirements in the sign-up form.

Friday
Dinner: Chicken casserole / Vegetable casserole with tomatoes and rice

Saturday
Lunch: Fish soup / Mashed sweet potato soup
Dinner: Pork fillet with green pepper sauce and garlic potatoes / Couscous cauliflower pepper with lemon yoghurt sauce

Sunday
Lunch: Minced meat risotto with yoghurt sauce / Vegetable casserole
Cereals, milk, coffee, tea and bread will be provided for breakfasts. During Saturday afternoon break coffee, tea, croissants and fruits will be served.

For those participating the 60th Anniversary gala dinner, the buffet at Restaurant Sipuli includes

• Roasted Salmon, Chili & Ginger
• Salad of Shrimps, Coriander and Lime
• Grilled Fillet of Pork Barbeque, Romaine Salad and Crôutons
• Pear, Walnuts, Endives and Roqueford Cheese
• Focaccia Bread
• Grilled spicy Breast of Corn fed Chicken with Bearnaise Sauce
• Cheese Cake with Raspberry and Black Pepper Sauce
