Traineeships Exchange is the most intense learning experience that we offer and links together our global network. Each year, we provide over 3,500 members the challenging opportunity to live and work in a foreign country in areas of management, information technology, education, and development.
Steps to the process: - Contact your Local Committee and join AIESEC - Contact AIESEC TKK, participate in our Local Orientation Day in early October and apply for the AIESEC program.
- Introduction to AIESEC - After Local Orientation Day you have an opportunity to try different working areas in AIESEC, gain a deeper understanding about the organization and how it can benefit you.
- Application to Work Abroad Phase – after joining and understanding AIESEC you can apply for the Work Abroad Phase. It includes an interview to assess your experiences and motivation for doing an AIESEC exchange.
- Preparation – AIESEC provides resources, trainings and support to prepare you to live and work in another country and help you to take the most out of the experience. This includes defining expectations and goals for the traineeship.
- Matching – You will get access to use our on-line database of traineeships. The more flexible you are the better.
- Integration – AIESEC members in your host committee abroad provide support and assistance in getting setup while providing opportunities for cultural and social activities. AIESEC also supports you in your learning process during the traineeship by constant follow up.
- Re-Integration – AIESEC TKK supports you in making the readjustment process that supports your learning process when you return home.
Types of Exchanges: - Technical – traineeships relate to management and development in web, software, networks, and databases, plus some engineering.

- Management – traineeships related to administration, finance, accounting, marketing, project management and HR.
